Missing gold signals because you saw them too late

You see the VIP group's gold call late. Or you see it on time, but by the time you've typed the lot size, SL and TPs into MT5, price has already gone. Then you either chase it at a worse fill or watch the move happen without you.

How a signal gets placed for you

Trade By Focus connects your own Telegram account by phone number and reads the groups you're already in. There is no bot to add, and the group owner does nothing. When a group is set to Trade signals, each typed signal is read and placed on your connected MT5 account at the size you mapped for that pair. It runs on Trade By Focus's servers, so your phone can stay locked in your pocket.

What happens next depends on the shape of the signal:

  • A market or "NOW" call is placed straight away at the current price.
  • A single entry price becomes a real pending order, a limit or a stop, waiting on your chart.
  • An entry range or zone is handled by the group's zone setting, covered below.

If you're comparing telegram signal copier speed, the point is that none of this waits for you to see the notification. Market orders fill within a few seconds.

One protection is switched on by default. Skip a late "now" the price has already run past means that if a "buy now" or "sell now" quoting a price arrives after price has already passed the group's first take profit, it is skipped and your feed says why. By then the move has happened without you, and a market fill would only get what's left of it with the whole stop still at risk. Turn it off if you'd rather enter a late "now" at the live price.

Zones, and orders that never fill

To change how a zone is entered, tap Signals in the bottom bar (or Auto, then Telegram Signals), open the group's card and tap Edit. The setting is How a zone entry is filled:

  • One order hunting the best fill in the zone (the default). A Range Watch zone appears on your chart. It waits for price to reach the band, looks for the best fill inside it, and always places the order before price can leave the zone. While it waits, you can drag the zone's top or bottom edge to widen or narrow it.
  • Split the size across several orders through the zone. This is the ladder. How many orders in the zone sets between 1 and 5, default 3, and the legs add back up to your mapped size.
  • Rest one order in the middle of the zone or at the far end of the zone. These enter at market straight away if price is already at or past that level, but if price never reaches it, the signal is missed.

Smart Entry is off by default. Switched on, it enters a close zone, or a single quoted price the market has only just missed, at market instead of waiting. "Close" is judged against the trade's own risk, roughly a quarter of the stop distance. A far zone still waits. Smart Entry is ignored if you've chosen middle or far end.

If price never comes back to a zone, the Range Watch expires unfilled. It does not chase, and no order was placed. How long anything waits is set by How long a signal stays valid, default 8 hours. The choices run from 5 minutes up to 12 hours, end of day (midnight UTC), or no expiry.

Do not chase a move we missed is on by default. If the group announces a take profit hit, or a move to break-even, before your entry fills, the waiting order is cancelled. Cancel the waiting order at lets you choose the first, second or third take profit. It works from the group's messages, so a group that never announces a take profit never triggers it.

The edges to watch

  • Your MT5 account has to be connected. If the connection has dropped when a signal arrives, nothing is placed.
  • A pair you haven't mapped in the group's settings is skipped.
  • Signals posted as screenshots or chart images can't be read. Only message text can.
  • A pending order from a signal can't be edited afterwards. It either fills or expires.
  • Middle and far end can miss a signal entirely. That's the trade-off for a better price, not a fault.

Before letting a group trade, you can set it to Paused and open its Feed. That shows each message, how it was read and whether a trade would have been placed, without risking anything on your account.
